Era |
The totally radical '80s |
Hometown |
The charmingly bleak northeast corner of Tokyo |
Character Traits |
Defying all odds with the “Triple Crown” of life challenges: chubby, short-legged, and…let’s call it “endearing modesty”! |
Life Path |
Started as a bottom-tier technical university graduate and, by a stroke of miracle (or cosmic joke), found myself employed at a subsidiary of a well-known company.
Under the guidance of an old-school senior with a fondness for reminding me of his seniority, I somehow bluffed my way to project leader faster than anyone else. But as you’d expect, my “stellar” reputation didn’t last, and I settled into a humbler role as “Mediocre Project Manager Extraordinaire.” By age 30, I tapped out and made a swift exit. Now, I’m working in a field that people just love to grumble about, living a daily life filled with a blend of mild frustration and comic relief. |
Special Skills |
With slightly unreliable hearing, I’ve mastered the art of nodding along and throwing in random “uh-huhs” with impeccable timing. |
Life Philosophy |
Living is all about turning ideals into reality—well, in theory.
(After all, simply floating along with no ideals isn’t exactly the “human” way, is it?) |
Passions & Pastimes |
I’m a die-hard fan of sketching imaginary railway lines on maps and dreaming up my own custom trains—a personal escape from the daily grind.
I’m also hopelessly nostalgic for Japan’s narrow-gauge railways of yesteryear, like the Taito Line, Jozankei Railway, and more. Come March through October, you’ll find me passionately cheering on my beloved Hanshin Tigers. Those affiliated with the so-called "Great Justice" team Gomiuri Giants, Japan's longest-running baseball team, often refer to us as a “Hanchin” or “Chinkasu.” I prefer instrumental tunes to unwind. Top pairing: Yukino Bosha sake with a side of simmered golden-eyed sea bream. Chef’s kiss! |
